7.1 Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time. The deletion process depends on your financial commitments:

Complete Account Deletion

Available when you have no active financial commitments:

  • No active property ownership
  • No wallet funds
  • No pending withdrawals or transactions

Result: All your personal data, account information, and transaction history will be permanently deleted from our systems.

Account Deletion with Financial Commitments

Applied when you have active financial commitments:

  • Active property ownership (mature or immature)
  • Wallet funds
  • Pending withdrawals or transactions

What happens to your data:
Your login and personal details will be permanently deleted
Your uploaded documents will be permanently deleted
• Minimal financial records (such as ownership and transaction data) will be retained strictly as required by applicable financial and regulatory laws until your commitments are completed
• Once your commitments are fully settled, the remaining records will be securely deleted from our systems
• You won't be able to log back in after this action

How to Delete Your Account

Account deletion is a self-service process that can be completed entirely through the app:

Go to Profile → Settings → Security

Tap "Delete Account" and confirm in the alert dialog

The system automatically checks for financial commitments

If you have commitments, review what data will be preserved

Provide your current password and optional deletion reason

Check the box confirming you understand the consequences

Confirm deletion in the final warning modal

You're automatically logged out and redirected to login screen

⚠️ Important: Account deletion is irreversible and can be completed entirely through the app. No email support is required. Please ensure you have downloaded any important documents or statements before proceeding.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred outside Nigeria. Safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent are applied.

10. Updates to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted on our website and app.
